Keefe Named ACC Offensive Player of the Week


CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Sophomore Kerry Keefe was named ACC Offensive Player of the Week following her performance over the weekend, the conference office announced Monday. 

Keefe tallied 42 kills for 4.67 kills per set and had just six errors on 75 swings to hit an impressive .480 percent in the two matches. She also collected two aces, 14 digs and four blocks. 

In Duke’s 1,000th program victory over Loyola Maryland, Keefe had a career night with a career-high 24 kills and just three errors to hit .538 percent. She was also instrumental in the five-set victory over West Virginia with 18 kills. 

So far this fall, she is hitting .349 percent and leads the team with 73 kills. 

Duke welcomes Elon Tuesday for a 6:30 p.m., contest at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
