CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Conference play gets underway Wednesday with No. 13 Georgia Tech visiting Clemson at 7 p.m. The remaining 13 teams will kick off conference play on Friday evening, starting with Florida State at Virginia Tech and Virginia at North Carolina, both at 6 p.m. on ACC Network Extra.
Three teams continue to be ranked in the AVCA poll, all three in the top 15: Louisville is No. 5, Pitt holds strong at No. 8 and Georgia Tech is No. 13. Duke, Florida State and Miami are receiving votes.

- The ACC owns the second-best winning percentages among Power conferences, along with recording the most games played or won of any conference so far, with an overall record of 118-41.
- In the RPI rankings released this week and for matches played through Sept. 18, three ACC teams are in the top 20 and four in the top 30. Louisville led the way at No. 5 with Wake Forest at No. 16 and Georgia Tech at No. 19. Pitt came in at No. 28.
- Looking ahead, the ACC has 10 teams faced with the 25 most difficult schedules, tied for the most of any conference: Syracuse (4th), Virginia (5th), Clemson (6th), Wake Forest (12th), North Carolina (13th), Louisville (14th), Virginia Tech (16th), Miami (T-17th), NC State (T-17th), Duke (T-23rd).
- The ACC is second nationally in kills (7,428), assists (6,825), aces (962) and block assists (1,967). The league ranks third in digs (7,856) and fourth in hitting percentage (.246).
