Lewis Men’s Volleyball Set for Final Two Regular Season Matches This Week


ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – The Lewis men’s volleyball team is set to compete in a pair of matches at Neil Carey this week. Be sure to catch all the action for these MIVA games on Thursday and Saturday.

Series History vs Lindenwood

Lewis leads the all-time series 22-5 against Lindenwood. In their previous matchup on February 17, 2023, Lewis fell short in a 3-2 loss. Max Roquet (Johnston, Iowa/Johnston) led the Flyers’ attack with 14 kills. Tyler Morgan (Dike, Iowa/New Hartford) aided in the attack by producing 20 assists.

Series History vs. Quincy

Lewis leads the all-time series 55-8 against Quincy. In their most recent match on February 15, 2023, Lewis came out on top in a 3-0 victory. Prayer, Cole Brillhart (York, Pa./Northeastern), and Michael Sack (Oak Lawn, Ill./St. Laurence) led the Flyers’ attack, combining for 23 kills. Kevin Kauling (Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley) aided in the attack by producing 25 assists.

Last Week in Review

Lewis lost both games last week. They fell to Ohio State 3-0 and Ball State 3-2. The attack was led by Brillhart, Christian Prayer (St. Louis, Mo/Parkway North), and Roquet when they combined for 60 kills over the two-game span. Morgan aided in the attack, producing 78 assists over the two-game span.
