COLUMBIA, Ky. – Lindsey Wilson student-athlete Madison Bidwell has been named to the 2022 Mid-South Conference women’s volleyball Champions of Character Team, officials announced on Tuesday.

This is Bidwell’s first-career Champion of Character distinction, and she becomes the third different player in program history to receive the honor from the conference.

The MSC recognizes a Champions of Character Team for each championship sport. The student-athletes that are honored on the Champions of Character Team were nominated by their coaches based on their leadership on campus and in the community while demonstrating the five core character values of the NAIA.

Bethel’s (Tenn.) Dominika Skoneczna, Campbellsville’s (Ky.) Molly Shannon, Cumberland’s (Tenn.) Harlee Kate Reid, Cumberlands’ (Ky.) Kira Ervin, Freed-Hardeman’s (Tenn.) Ann Elise Jackson, Georgetown’s (Ky.) Olivia Mitchell, Pikeville’s (Ky.) Mikela Cook, Shawnee State’s (Ohio) Abbie Kallner, Tennessee Southern’s Hannah Oliver, and Thomas More’s (Ky.) Ruthie Neu were all honored with the recognition.

Madison and her Blue Raider teammates are set to compete in the Mid-South Conference tournament later this week in Bowling Green.
