COLUMBIA, Ky. – Jerry Forbes, who has coached the Blue Raider volleyball program since 2019, has resigned, Lindsey Wilson athletics director Willis Pooler announced today.
“We would like to thank Coach Forbes for his service as our volleyball coach over the last four seasons,” Pooler said. “We wish him the very best with his future endeavors.”
Forbes led the Blue Raider volleyball program to a 93-31 overall record. He led Lindsey Wilson to two Mid-South Conference regular-season titles and three MSC Tournament Championships while making three appearances in the NAIA National Championship Tournament.
He coached one NAIA All-American, six NAIA Honorable mention All-Americans, one Mid-South Conference Player of the Year, one MSC Setter of the Year, and 22 all-conference recipients.
A nationwide search for his replacement will begin immediately.
