COLUMBIA, Ky. – For the second time this season and fourteenth time in her career, Lindsey Wilson volleyball senior Camryn Rich has been named the Mid-South Conference’s Setter of the Week, league officials announced on Monday.
Rich recorded back-to-back stellar performances last week to lead the Blue Raiders to wins in consecutive conference contests over the University of the Cumberlands and the University of Pikeville.
In a five-set thriller versus the Patriots on Tuesday, the Louisville native accomplished a rare triple-double behind 57 assists, 19 digs, and a personal-best 11 kills. Then, on Friday, she dished out a match-high 31 assists against the Bears in a three-set sweep for the locals.
Her 11.0 assists per set last week propelled Rich into second overall on the Mid-South’s leaderboard with a mark of 9.02 on the season through 16 matches.
Camryn and her Blue Raider teammates begin a two-match road stint this weekend as they travel to Thomas More University for a Saturday afternoon match-up with the Saints.
