Conference coaches vote on the seasonal awards along with all-conference teams. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own players.

Rich and Smith are both making their fourth career appearances on the All-Mid-South teams. For the latter of the two, this is her second consecutive Second-Team nod, while Rich garners First-Team accolades for the fourth time.

During the regular season, Rich ranked fifth in the conference with 796 total assists en route to becoming the sixth different setter in program history to record 3,000 career assists. She also stood strong on defense for the Blue Raiders, collecting 249 digs to move over 1,000 for her Lindsey Wilson tenure. Rich was named the league’s Setter of the Week twice in 2022, including once for a triple-double performance against the University of the Cumberlands, in which she recorded 57 assists, 19 digs, and a career-high 11 kills.

Smith has been ascending up the program’s leaderboard in career kills all season long, and actively ranks fourth with 1,212 successful attacks. Her 223 kills on the year bests her season total from a year ago, as does her mark in total blocks, 18.5, which brings the Indiana native over 100 for her career. Smith struck for 20 or more kills on two separate occasions during the regular season and led the team in kills ten times.

Bidwell is named an All-Conference Second-Team selection for the second time in her career after being tabbed an honorable mention in 2021. Before being sidelined with an injury, she had wracked up 141 kills on a 0.235 hitting percentage while becoming the 28th player in Blue Raider volleyball history to reach 500 career kills. She also contributed five service aces and 13.5 total blocks.

The Blue Raiders’ other Indiana native boasts a career attack percentage of 0.304, including 0.325 this season behind 159 kills.
