SEATTLE — Chloe Loreen has earned a spot on the 2022 Beach Volleyball All-Pac-12 Team, becoming the first Husky on the team since 2019. Loreen went 18-9 on the year, playing all her matches at the No. 1 spot with Natalie Robinson.
A Seattle native, Loreen is the first Husky named All-Pac-12 since Destiny Julye was second team in 2019. Loreen and Robinson had multiple wins over top pairs from ranked teams, winning at No. 1 against 7th-ranked Grand Canyon, No. 17 Arizona, No. 11 California, No. 9 Stanford, and No. 8 Hawaii. Their wins at No. 1 were instrumental in UW’s first ranked wins since 2018, as the Huskies upset No. 11 California and No. 8 Hawaii, both by 3-2 scores.
Loreen now has 44 career victories, tied with Julye for No. 4 in school history. She plans to return for a final season in 2023.
