IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Immaculata men’s volleyball team honored its senior class ahead of their final regular season matchup against Randolph Macon on Sunday morning. The Macs dropped their final matchup 3-0 to the Yellow Jackets.
Prior to the start of the season, the Mighty Macs honored its two graduating seniors, Matthew Lynn and Bryce Wiltbank, for their outstanding collegiate careers at Immaculata.
With the score standing at 15-15, a kill from Garrett Pepper gave the Macs a 16-15 advantage over the Yellow Jackets. The yellow Jackets were quick to respond, however, going on a 10-3 run to claim set one 25-19.
Set two found the Macs in a quick 11-3 hole. The Mighty Macs attempted to get back into the set, but the Yellow Jackets maintained their lead, taking the set 25-12. Set three yielded a similar result as the Yellow Jackets claimed set three 25-16.
Garrett Pepper led the Macs on the game with 10 digs and one ace. Senior Bryce Wiltbank, meanwhile, led the Macs defensively with two blocks while Joe Martell led the Macs with 18 assists.
