COLLEGE PARK, MD – The University of Maryland volleyball program announced its match against Nebraska on November 30 will take place on the XFINITY Center Main Arena. It is slated to begin at 7 p.m. and will air on Big Ten Network.
“One of the reasons I was drawn to the University of Maryland was the opportunity to make history and break records,” said head coach Adam Hughes. “Our fans have made a huge impact on the growth of our program. Terp Nation, we have the opportunity to show out against a great conference opponent. We will see you all on November 30.”
The last time the Terps played on the main court was Oct. 26, 2019 when they faced then-No. 8 Penn State. The program’s current attendance record was set nearly ten years ago when Maryland faced the Nittany Lions in 2014 in the XFINITY Center main arena. The record sits at 4,522 fans.
The contest against the Huskers will be the final regular-season match for the Terrapins. Maryland will be holding its senior day ceremony to honor the dedication of eight student-athletes prior to the match.
The promotion theme for the match is ‘Diggin’ It’. The first 500 fans will receive construction hats. Additionally, the first 500 fans will receive glow sticks for the starting lineups.
General admission tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here. Additional details regarding courtside seating will be available at a later date.
