SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Junior Shannon McGrath put down a season-best 18 kills and added a career-high 25 digs to lead the Union College women’s volleyball team to a 3-1 (23-25, 25-23, 25-17, 25-21) victory over Western New England University in non-conference action on Friday night at the Caprio Alumni Center.
McGrath had an excellent night for Union (19-8), hitting .246 with 18 kills and only two errors to go with five service aces and her 25 digs.
