RYAN BARNETT OF PEPPERDINE

MPSF/MOLTEN OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Pepperdine redshirt sophomore outside hitter Ryan Barnett (Long Island, NY) accumulated 32 kills (4.00 K/S) with a .481 hitting percentage, and served one ace, in a two-match MPSF series split with No. 6 Stanford (Feb. 23-24). He was 12 for an errorless 18 in the win for a career-high-tying .667 clip, before recording a career-best 20 kills (.389) the next night. This is the first career MPSF weekly award for Barnett.

NATHAN LIETZKE OF STANFORD

MPSF/MOLTEN DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Stanford fifth-year setter Nathan Lietzke (Austin, TX) averaged a team-best 2.50 digs per set to go with 0.62 blocks per set as the Cardinal split two MPSF road matches at No. 11 Pepperdine (Feb. 23-24), earning its first win at Pepperdine since 2017. He had nine digs and two blocks on Friday, and then turned in his fifth double-double of the year on Saturday which included a team-high 11 digs to go with three blocks. This is the second career MPSF weekly award for Lietzke, each this year.
