NAIA Volleyball Championship Pool Play Assignments and Schedule Released

KANSAS CITY – The NAIA has released the 2022 Women’s Volleyball Championship Pool Play assignments and schedule, which is set to unfold between November 30th and December 2nd inside the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

The 24 winners from last weekend’s opening round matchups were placed in eight pools of three teams each, in accordance with the seeding that was set by the NAIA selection committee.

No. 11 Taylor (31-5) was assigned the second seed within Pool E, which also includes the top-seeded No. 4 Corban (29-4) and the three seed and Crossroads League foe, RV Bethel (22-11).

Play within Pool E is slated to commence on Wednesday, November 30, when Corban and Bethel square off at 5:00 pm ET. Taylor, meanwhile, will have the day off on Wednesday, before playing Bethel on Thursday, December 1, and Corban on Friday, December 2, with each match scheduled for 5:00 pm ET.

The winner from each of the eight pools will then advance to a single-elimination bracket set to begin on Saturday, December 3, with the National Championship match scheduled for 8:00 pm ET on Tuesday, December 6.

The NAIA Network – the association’s official video-streaming home – will broadcast all matches excluding the championship match live at the 2022 NAIA Volleyball National Championship final site in Sioux City, Iowa. The video platform, powered by Presto allows users access to live video, statistics and social interaction on a number of devices, including mobile.

Single-day passes can be purchased for $9.95, while a pool play pass is $24.95 (November 30 – December 2) and a championship package is available at $39.95. The championship package includes all pool play, quarterfinal and semifinal matches.
