Nineteen ACC Volleyball Players Named to AVCA All-American List


CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Nineteen Atlantic Coast Conference Volleyball student-athletes earned American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-America honors, announced on December 18. The AVCA recognized 97 Division I student-athletes as All-Americans, divided into first, second, third and honorable mention teams.
 
Eight of the ACC’s 18 teams had at least one student named to the All-America teams, headlined by Louisville and Pitt each with four and Stanford with three.
 
The ACC had six first-team selections in Pitt’s Olivia Babcock, Rachel Fairbanks and Torrey Stafford, Stanford’s Kami Miner and Elia Rubin and Louisville’s Elena Scott.
 
Eight of the 19 ACC All-America selections will be going head-to-head this Thursday, December 19, as Louisville and Pitt hit the court to fight for a spot in the 2024 NCAA Volleyball National Championship title game. First serve on ESPN is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET.
