Nuneviller, Hope Earn All-Conference Honors

EUGENE, Ore. – For the first time in program history, the Oregon beach volleyball team has worked its way onto the Pac-12 release of all-conference accolades. Brooke Nuneviller earns a spot on the All-Pac-12 Second Team and Reagan Hope is a member of the league’s All-Freshman Team.

Conference honors, announced Tuesday afternoon, were voted on by the Pac-12 head coaches.

Playing as the Ducks’ No. 1 pairs for 28 of the team’s 32 matches, Hope and Nuneviller posted a 16-11 record together including five wins over Pac-12 opponents. The duo was the second team off court in Oregon’s 3-1 win over Utah in the opening round of the Pac-12 Championship (April 27).

Hope and Nuneviller won six of their first seven matches together to start the season. Their conference wins came against the top teams from Arizona, Arizona State, Utah (twice) and Washington. Five of their 11 losses came in three sets to pairs from Cal, Stanford, UCLA and Washington (twice).

In addition to the team-high 16 wins as a pair with Nuneviller, Hope led UO with 19 wins individually. She and Madelyn LaFollette posted a 3-1 record during a mid-March run that included victories against Corban, Portland and Sacramento State.

The Ducks finished their 2022 season with a 14-18 record under first-year head coach Jason Dillard who guided the team to a program record for single-season wins (14) and its first-ever ranked win, a 4-1 win over No. 17 Arizona (April 9) during the Pac-12 North Invitational.

Hope, Nuneviller and Daley McClellan—14 wins in the sand this past season—are also members of the Oregon volleyball team which will hold its Alumni Match this Sunday, May 22, at 2 p.m. inside Matthew Knight Arena.
