The tour will visit fan favourites and iconic locations across the globe
Athletes and fans alike can look forward to an exhilarating year of Beach Pro Tour Futures action with events across Asia, Europe, North America and Oceania already confirmed. The tour calendar continues to expand, with 2024 boasting an impressive 24 confirmed events already, of which 21 are scheduled for the first half of the year.
The Beach Pro Tour Futures events play a key role in providing opportunities for up-and-coming teams and serve as a stepping stone to the Challenge-level events. They also allow cities to promote the sport within their countries.
The action-packed season will kick off in Oceania from 28 February to 3 March, with Mollymook, Australia set to host the tour for the first time in history. Teams will then head to the picturesque Mount Maunganui in New Zealand between 7 and 10 March following the stop’s successful debut last year. Futures action will then return to Australia with Coolangatta hosting a double gender event from 20 to 24 March for the second consecutive year.

Tahiti, French Polynesia is set to host not one, but two events in 2024. Following the successful men’s stop in 2023, the island will feature a men’s competition from 2 to 6 April, followed by a women’s event from 9 to 13 April this year.
In April and June, the Beach Pro Tour Futures will make its way to Asia and Europe. Nuvali, Philippines will organise a stop between 11 and 14 April, providing a taste of what is to come with the Beach Pro Tour Challenge event scheduled at the same venue in November 2024.
China will organise four Futures tournaments in 2024, with two events taking place in May, following the conclusion of the Xiamen Challenge. Pingtan, Fujian, will welcome the Futures tour from 9 to 12 May, building on the success of the Asian Beach Volleyball Championships hosted by the city in 2023. Meanwhile, Wuhan Qingshan will stage an event from 16 to 19 May, using the same venue that hosted the Military World Games in 2019.
Two additional Futures events are confirmed for China after the Olympic Games Paris 2024, including a return to Qidong on 5-9 September and the tour’s first-ever visit to Qingdao on 12-15 September.
