Syracuse volleyball (11-15, 7-9 ACC) lost to Boston College (18-12, 6-10) in straight sets (25-23, 25-18, 25-22) inside the Margot Connell Rec Center on Sunday afternoon.
Despite the loss, Syracuse finished the match with a .306 hitting clip, gathering 37 total kills on 11 errors.
Three Orange performers locked in double-digit kills – Outside hitter Polina Shemanova and Viktoriia Lokhmanchuk recorded 12 each and Naomi Franco added 10. Five service aces were punched in today as well, as Lauren Woodford and Lohkmanchuk each had a pair along with a single from Bre Walp. Woodford added a career-high 29 assists. 10 digs for Shemanova gave her a double-double performance as well.
‘Cuse will be back in action on Friday, Nov. 18, as the squad will head down to Coral Gables, Fla. to face Miami. First-serve is slated for 7 p.m. and the match will stream live on ACCNX.
