PITTSBURGH – The Pitt volleyball team is set to compete in four matches this spring, including a home-and-home with Ohio State and in-state rival, Penn State.
The first match of the spring season will take place at the Fitzgerald Field House on March 23 against the Buckeyes at 1 p.m. The Panthers travel to Columbus on April 6 to conclude the series. Most recently, Pitt defeated Ohio State in a preseason scrimmage last year in Columbus.
The following weekend Pitt hosts the Nittany Lions on April 14 at 1 p.m. This marks the first time the two programs have played since the NCAA Round of 32 match in 2021. Pitt will end its spring season in State College on April 19.
Fans will have a chance to see newcomers Bianca Garibaldi and Ryla Jones for the first time in a Pitt uniform and get a glimpse of the 2024 Panthers.
