SEATTLE – Husky senior May Pertofsky was named to the AVCA Pacific North All-Region Team today, earning honorable mention. Pertofsky made a huge impact for the Dawgs in her one season after transferring into the program from Michigan.
Pertofsky was one match played short of being eligible for All-Pac-12 honors, but was eligible for AVCA region honors. She was also an All-Region honorable mention the past two seasons at Michigan, in the North Region.
The Los Angeles native was second on the squad this season with a career-high 3.09 kills per set, just .01 behind Madi Endsley for the team lead. She .294 attack percentage also led the Huskies, and she ranked second on the team with 0.75 blocks per set.
Pertofsky led the Huskies in 10 matches, including posting a career-high 22 kills in a win over Arizona in the final week of the season.
