COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Big Ten announced its weekly women’s volleyball awards on Monday. Senior setter Mac Podraza was named Big Ten Setter of the Week for the fourth time this season.
Podraza averaged 11.75 assists, 2.38 digs and 0.75 blocks per set last week as Ohio State swept RV Michigan and won in five sets at No. 11 Penn State. Podraza began the week with 41 assists and six digs in just three sets against the Wolverines. On Saturday at Penn State, Podraza earned her sixth double-double of the season (fifth of conference play) with 53 assists and 13 digs.
Podraza continues to lead the Big Ten with 10.89 assists per set and is also averaging 2.26 digs/set, while increasing her output to 11.09 assists and 2.38 digs per set in Big Ten play.
