Day 2 of the 2024 WPV Beach ParaVolley Men’s World Championship in Chongqing started with a gripping match between unbeaten teams Poland 1 and India, with the former managing to secure a 2-1 (19-21, 21-14, 15-11) victory.

Despite losing the first set, Poland 1 made a strong comeback, maintaining their momentum in the deciding set, giving them an early advantage in the tournament.

In the next match, Latvia displayed impressive skills and teamwork, to dominate Poland 2 in straight sets (21-14, 21-15). Also dominating the court were Slovakia, posting an impressive 2-0 (21-12, 21-7) win against Australia. After a slow start on the first day, they earned their first win on Day 2, setting their sights on maintaining their momentum.

Later in the day, India bounced back from their loss to secure a 2-0 (21-19, 21-15) win over Latvia, while Poland 2 also recouped from their defeat with a commanding 2-0 (21-9, 21-11) win over the Australians.

The day concluded with a nail-biting match between Poland 1 and Slovakia, with Poland 1 keeping their undefeated record intact with an clutch 2-0 (21-18, 22-20) finish.

After a close battle in the opening set, Poland 1 trailed their European counterparts in the second frame, but their resilient run down the final stretch, helped them tie the score until they surged ahead to clinch their fourth consecutive victory.
