Pukis averaged 12.00 assists per set over the weekend while directing the UO offense to a .407 hitting percentage during the Hurricane Invitational. She dished out 38 assists in the Ducks’ straight-set victory over South Carolina. In the match, Oregon hit .368 (45-10-95) and no player had more than two attack errors. Pukis added four digs, three kills of her own and two blocks.

Over the course of the weekend in Coral Gables, the Ducks added nearly 30 points—from .252 to .281—to their season hitting percentage.

Colyer put down a match-high 16 kills coupled with a .500 hitting percentage (16-2-28) in Sunday’s four-set road win over Miami, and did not commit an attack error until the third set. The outing was her third of the year with 10+ kills to go along with a .400 or higher efficiency. She tacked on three digs and three blocks in the match.

The UO freshman standout opened the weekend with a match-leading and season-high six blocks in a sweep of South Carolina. She was part of the team’s defensive effort that limited the Gamecocks to a .103 hitting percentage. Colyer added four kills in the weekend-opening victory.

Through the first four weeks of the 2022 campaign, Colyer ranks ninth in the Pac-12 at 3.22 kills per set.
