Read On, Wisconsin! | Wisconsin Badgers

‘Read On, Wisconsin!’ is made possible through the cooperation and support of public libraries across the state of Wisconsin. Specific libraries and their locations will be revealed later this month.

Presented by the Patterson Foundation, ‘Read On, Wisconsin!’ helps further the foundation’s mission to strengthen the efforts of people, organizations and communities by focusing on issues that address common aspirations, foster wide participation and encourage learning and sharing. With a focus on literacy, the Badgers’ summer campaign will help foster and celebrate young readers as the school year wraps up and summer reading begins.

Sue Solie Patterson earned two degrees, a bachelor of science and a master of fine arts, from the University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Education. Sue was a captain, Big Ten Conference record-holder, and an All-American swimmer at Wisconsin. Sue is a New York Times best-selling coauthor of children’s books with her husband, James Patterson. James is the world’s top selling author of the past 20 years and has donated more than one million books to students, focusing on some of the most under-resourced schools and youth programs in the country.
