Series History vs San Diego State
Oregon and San Diego State have met 10 times prior to Thursday’s meeting but have not played since 2016, a 3-0 win for the Ducks in Eugene. San Diego State owns a slim 6-4 advantage in the series but Oregon has won the past three. It will be the first meeting in San Diego since 1987.

On the heels of its 3-0 opening weekend, Oregon moved up three spots to No. 6 in the Aug. 28 release of the AVCA top-25 poll. It is the team’s highest in-season ranking since the 2012 squad earned a No. 2 ranking four times, one of those in the final standings.

It was the 10th-career weekly award for Colyer who set a league record with eight Freshman of the Week selections in 2022. The win for Bacon was the second of her career, and first since a Freshman of the Week nod in 2019.

Life on the Road
The Ducks will spend the entirety of their 11-match, non-conference schedule on the road.
