Shemanova Named To AVCA East All-Region Team

Graduate outside hitter Polina Shemanova was named to the 2022 AVCA East All-Region team, which was announced by the Organization on Tuesday afternoon.

The honor marks the fourth All-Region nod for the St. Petersburg, Russia native. In 2018 She was also named the East Region Freshman of the Year and was tabbed an Honorable Mention All-American.

This season the St. Petersburg, Russia native became the all-time career kills leader in program history, as she has logged a total of 1,845 kills. Shemanova finished fifth in the ACC in kills and kills per set by racking up 402 total and led the team with 3.90 kills per set.
