TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Following two seasons at Mississippi State, rising junior outside hitter Sophie Agee will continue her volleyball career at Alabama as she is set to join the Crimson Tide in 2024.

The Houston, Texas, native appeared in 38 matches over her two years at Mississippi State, including 25 starts as a sophomore with the Bulldogs. In 2023, she led the team in aces (25), was second in kills (250) and third in digs (171). She had 12 matches with double-digit kills, including three double-doubles, and a career-best 21 kills against Western Michigan (Sept. 8).

Agee marks the seventh newcomer so far for next year’s Crimson Tide squad, joining the six freshmen from the fall signing class: Lindsey Brown, Ashby Daniel, Addison Engel, Hannah Parant, Ellery Rees and Leilia Toailoa.
