WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Purdue volleyball squad is set to play in four games this spring. The schedule, designed with Boilermaker fans in mind, will be played throughout the state of Indiana to give fans an opportunity to come out and watch the team in action.
Purdue will begin the four-match season on March 29 and will conclude the slate on April 16. Purdue will be taking on two Big Ten foes in Northwestern and the national champions Wisconsin, an NCAA regional semifinal team in Kentucky and Ball State, which also made the NCAA tournament.
The Boilermakers, coming off an NCAA Second Round appearance, return Big Ten Freshman of the Year and AVCA All-America Honorable Mention Eva Hudson and AVCA All-Region Honorable Mention Raven Colvin. Meanwhile, in December, libero Maddie Schermerhorn announced her return for a fifths season, made possible by the COVID year of eligibility.
In addition, four of the team’s six members of the incoming freshman class, which was ranked No. 3 in the nation by Prepvolleyball.com, enrolled in January and are eligible to practice and compete this spring for Purdue. Fans will have a chance to catch freshmen Rachel Williams, Chloe Chicoine, Kenna Wollard and Julia Kane in uniform in the coming weeks.
All matches are free to the public.
