Steven Duhoux Joins Arizona Volleyball as Assistant Coach


TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Volleyball head coach Charita Stubbs has completed her coaching staff with the addition of Steven Duhoux as an assistant coach. Duhoux joins Arizona after serving as the graduate assistant at Springfield College for the past two years. Duhoux has also coached with USA Volleyball, Orange Coast College, and Balboa Bay Volleyball Club.
 
“I’m excited to round out my staff with the addition of Steven,” Stubbs said. “Steven is energetic and knowledgeable about the setting position. I’m excited to have yet another person on the staff that has excelled at the position they are coaching. His wealth of knowledge from the men’s game will immediately make an impact.”
 
As the graduate assistant at Springfield College, Duhoux helped the men’s volleyball team to a 52-7 record over the 2022 and 2023 seasons. With Duhoux on staff, the Knights reached the postseason in both years, including the NCAA DIII National Championship game in 2022.
 
In four seasons as the Orange Coast College men’s volleyball assistant coach, Duhoux guided the Pirates to a 58-9 record. The Pirates reached the CCCAA postseason in 2018 and 2019 with Duhoux on staff.
 
Prior to joining the staff at Orange Coast, Duhoux was the men’s volleyball head coach at Balboa Bay Volleyball Club for 10 years. He is also the USA Volleyball National Team Development Program Men’s Volleyball Assistant Coach.
 
Duhoux graduated from Hawai’i in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in human development and family resource and earned his master’s degree in athletic leadership from Springfield College in 2023.
