LUBBOCK, Texas – Senior outside hitter Iman Isanovic notched two double-doubles on Friday, but Sun Devil Volleyball came up short in both matches on the first day of the Red Raider Classic, falling to SMU and Texas Tech.
Notable Stats
- Arizona State (5-6) found success in various areas throughout the day but struggled to put it all together. After hitting .132 in the first match against SMU (7-5), ASU hit .223 in the night matchup against Texas Tech (10-2). The Sun Devil block had 10 in the early match but three in the later match.
- The match against SMU was the fourth five-set match this season. ASU is now 2-2 in those matches.
- Senior outside hitter Iman Isanovic earned her third and fourth double-doubles of the season today. She had 16 kills and 11 digs against SMU and earned those exact numbers against Texas Tech as well.
- Sophomore libero Jaden Ravnsborg has reached double figures in digs in all but one match this season. She had 16 against the Mustangs and 10 against the Red Raiders.
- The setting duties were primarily handled by junior Ella Snyder. She totaled 62 assists on the day, including a season-high 36 against Texas Tech.
- Junior Marta Levinska reached double-digit kills in both matches, starting with 11 and ending with 12. She also had four blocks in the afternoon match and eight digs in the night match.
