KANSAS CITY – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics released its final Top-25 Poll of the volleyball season recently, with Taylor ending as one-of-36 programs from around the NAIA to earn recognition in the ratings.
The Trojans took three points in the final poll, after concluding their standout 2021 campaign with a 27-7 overall record and a 14-4 mark within the Crossroads League. TU was ranked or received votes in each of the final six polls of the season, spending six-straight weeks in the Top-25 and climbing as high as No. 17.
In addition to recording its highest win total since 2011 and cracking the NAIA Top-25 for the first time since 2012, Taylor also continued its run as one of the top performing academic volleyball programs in the nation, leading all volleyball teams in the NCAA and NAIA with four CoSIDA Academic All-District awards this fall.
