UPLAND, Ind. – The Taylor University volleyball program is set to host the 2022 tryout for its Momentum Volleyball Club on Sunday, January 9th, inside Odle Arena.
Girls in grades ninth through 12th will tryout from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, followed by girls in grades fifth through eighth from 3:00 to 4:30 pm.
Each participant will need to pay a non-refundable tryout fee of $20 at the time of registration, which is due by Friday, January 7th. Registration is available at TaylorTrojans.com/Camps. The registration form can be printed, completed and mailed along with the $20 tryout fee to the address provided in the form.
Additional full club season dues are $150 for fifth and sixth grade participants, and $450 for the Elite junior high and high school travel team participants. Full club fees are due by January 31st in order for players to participate in practices and should be made out to Taylor University Athletics.
Athletes must also be registered on the AAU website to be eligible for practice. Those registration forms are due by Friday, January 7th.
Between March and May 1st, the fifth and sixth grade participants will have one practice per week and compete in three tournaments. The seventh and eighth grade and high school teams will also practice once per week, while each attending five tournaments throughout a slightly longer season that stretches from February to the first of May.
All tournaments will be within two hours of Upland, Indiana.
