TVA HOLDS THAI VOLLEYBALL FAMILY GATHERING TO CELEBRATE REMARKABLE ACHIEVEMENTS IN 2024

Bangkok, Thailand, September 16, 2024 – The Thailand Volleyball Association on Monday held the Thai Volleyball Family Gathering under theme of “Volleyball Thai, Jai Phue Chart” (Thai Volleyball Fights for Nation) to celebrate and acknowledge 2024 accomplishments in terms of competitions and volleyball-related activities, with TVA President Mr Somporn Chaibangyang and AVC Honorary Life Vice President Mr Shanrit Wongprasert, himself current AVC Executive Director, jointly presiding at Golden Tulip Sovereign Hotel Bangkok.

The gathering drew a huge number of Thailand men’s and women’s national indoor and beach volleyball players in all age groups, staff coaches, media representatives and sports entertainers as well as TVA executives, officials and sponsors.

The ultimate aim of the one-day celebration was to show TVA’s appreciation and gratitude towards teams’ active participation in 2024 indoor volleyball and beach volleyball events aside from celebrating their significant achievements in those competitions.

At the same time, TVA took this auspicious occasion to extend their sincere gratitude to generous sponsors for their full supporting to the association and to all parties which had played crucial roles in bringing fame and reputation to TVA and the country in particular. Cash incentives were also presented to teams and staff coaches accomplished in various tournaments.

 

Through a stunning video that captivated audiences with exceptional performances of Thai teams, Mr Somporn presented the accomplishments of TVA in developing volleyball in the country and unity, development and strength have been brought to fruition through love and passion of Thai players in this sport.

In his speech to all attendants, the TVA President said, “On this auspicious day, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all sponsors and supporters who have been playing crucial roles in making “our beloved sport” more successful.

“My great appreciation also went to all Thailand national men’s and women’s teams and all age groups from both indoor volleyball and beach volleyball events for their hard work, dedication and determination in efforts of making the country proud with their accomplishments in international competitions,” Somporn added.
