Two Pairs Headed to AVCA Pairs Championships, Team to GCU

TEMPE – Sun Devil Beach Volleyball is sending two pairs to the 2024 AVCA Pairs National Championship this weekend in Huntsville, Alabama from November 15-17. The pairs that are not participating in the championship will be competing at the Lopes Fall Pairs Tournament at Grand Canyon on November 16-17.

The two pairs representing Arizona State will be junior Daniella Kensinger and sophomore Ava Williamson, who were All-Americans in the 2024 season, and redshirt-junior Samaya Morin and junior Arden Besecker, both of whom have earned AVCA Top Flight Awards in their careers. For Kensinger and Williamson, this is their second-straight trip to the fall championships as a duo for ASU.

For those not in Alabama, they will compete at GCU. Numerous Sand Devil pairs will play throughout the day both Saturday and Sunday in Phoenix. Pairs from Arizona, Boise State and Washington will be there as well. This is the last fall event for the team.
