Two Transfers Added to 2024 Roster

TEMPE – Sun Devil Volleyball has added two strong transfers to the 2024 roster in fifth-year senior setter Argentina Ung and junior outside hitter Bailey Miller, both set to join the team in January.

“I am thrilled about the additions of Bailey and Argentina to our team,” head coach JJ Van Niel said. “As mid-year transfers, they will have the opportunity to train our system and get acclimated to the culture we have started here. Both Bailey and Argentina were leaders for their former programs and will add depth to positions that we needed. Additionally, it is always nice to have good people with experience who are looking to help take us back to the NCAA tournament. My eagerness stems from the high-quality character that both Bailey and Argentina have proven to be. Elevating our culture is as important as elevating the level of our gym and that is why I am so excited to start this spring with these two and the rest of the roster.”

Van Niel: “Bailey provides height and power on the pin. She was a fundamental piece for her team at West Virginia and as we head to the Big 12 next season, it will be awesome having someone with experience playing in that conference. Her ability to connect with others and her eagerness to get better in the gym will translate well into our current team’s atmosphere.”
