“Olga comes to Utah with a wealth of high level experience,” said head coach Beth Launiere on the addition. “Her time with the Polish National Team, as well as playing for the top club teams in Poland, has prepared her well for NCAA volleyball. She is a lefty that plays six rotations, and can pass and attack out of the back row. She is a tremendous athlete with great skill. We are excited to have a player of her caliber joining the Utah Volleyball program and look forward to having another left hander on our team.”
Musial signs with Utah as a 6’2″ left-handed pin hitter on the Polish National Team. She earned the bronze medal with Team Poland at the 2022 European Youth Olympics Festival, as well as the U19 European Championships. During the bronze medal match at the European Championships, Musial led the national team with 18 kills, three blocks and an ace.
Outside of her time with Team Poland, Musial played for SMS PZPS Szczyrk and currently plays club with ITA TOOLS Stal Mielec. Last season with SMS PZPS Szczyrk, Musial posted three matches of double-digit kills on the right side. She also posted a season-high five blocks against KS BAS Kombinat Budowlany Bialystok (A). Musial ended the 2021-22 season with 105 kills and 29 blocks.
