In Hong Kong, Italy celebrates its second consecutive victory in Pool 3 of the Volleyball Nations League (VNL) 2023. Sylvia Nwakalor led the scoring for the match with a significant 21 points, while her teammates Myriam Sylla, Oghosasere Omoruyi, and Anna Danesi contributed 16, 14, and 11 points respectively for Italy. The game was marred by numerous errors from both teams, with Italy committing 23 and the Dominican Republic, a higher 28.
