Volleyball Adds Transfer Outside Hitter Taylor Preston

During her freshman season at Oklahoma, Preston was named to the All-Tournament team at the Santa Clara Tournament and earned Big 12 Rookie of the Week honors on Nov. 1, 2022.

At St. Henry District High School, Preston was named a first team AVCA High School All-American in 2021 after leading her team to a Kentucky state championship. Preston was named the MVP of the tournament and earned first team All-State honors. She is the all-time career kills leader at St. Henry District, amassing over 1,300 kills in high school. She was named the Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of Kentucky in 2021.

Preston joins fellow transfer Danyle Courtley, as well as incoming freshmen Mia Hood, Mya Bolton, Kayla Foley and Carmen Waye, as newcomers for the Spartans in 2024.
