Volleyball Announces Spring Schedule

The Bears will play four matches in the month of April, culminating with a home scrimmage against Menlo College on April 26.


Bears Set To Host Menlo College On April 26

 BERKELEY – California volleyball will play four spring matches during the month of April, giving fans their first opportunity to see first-year head coach Jen Malcom’s 2024 squad.
 
The Golden Bears field 13 returners from the 2023 team, including reigning AVCA West Region and Pac-12 Freshman of the Year Maggie Li, All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention setter Annalea Maeder and rising fifth-year senior Sam Taumoepeau.
 
Cal will start its spring schedule with two matches on April 6 at Fresno State, first against the Bulldogs at 10 a.m. PT, followed by Pacific at 11:30 a.m. PT. The Bears will then play another match at UC Davis on April 13 at 11 a.m. PT before concluding their spring slate at home against Menlo College on April 26 at 7 p.m. PT.
 
The home match at Haas Pavilion will have free admission. A reception for donors, family and alumni is being planned with more information to follow.
