Volleyball Receives AAC Postseason Honors

Asheville, North Carolina– Members of the Brenau volleyball team received Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) postseason honors, the conference office announced on Wednesday.

Juniors Mary Ellen Enright and Julieanne Saliba and freshman Malone Davis were among those chosen for the 2021 AAC All-Conference teams.

Enright was one of twelve players selected to the 2021 AAC First Team All-Conference team for her play this season. The Cumming, Ga. native finished as the conference leader in both kills per set (3.67) and total kills (422) in her first season as a Golden Tiger. Her 422 kills ranked her 11th nationally in the NAIA.

Saliba, a defensive stalwart for the Golden Tigers, was named as a 2021 AAC Second Team All-Conference performer this season. The Buford, Ga. native ranked fifth in digs per set (5.03) and total digs (578) and was ranked 25th in total digs nationally. 

Davis, a native of Cumming, Ga. capped a standout inaugural season with a 2021 AAC All-Freshman team bid. She was ranked second in the conference in service aces per set (0.47) and 15th in total kills (270).
