COLUMBIA, S.C. – The 2026 schedule for the South Carolina volleyball team is officially complete following the release of the non-conference portion, which was announced on Monday afternoon by head coach Sarah Rumely Noble.
The non-conference slate features one home tournament, three ACC matchups, two Big Ten opponents and three additional matches. Two of the teams made appearances in the 2025 NCAA Tournament.

“We are excited about our non-conference schedule that we were able to build out,” coach Noble commented. “We know that this schedule will challenge us and prepare us for SEC play. We are ready to put a great product on the floor in the CVC for fans to see!”
The Gamecocks host two exhibitions and an intrasquad match before the season officially begins. The team faces Georgia Southern on August 14 before welcoming College of Charleston the following week on Aug. 21. The annual Garnet & Black scrimmage is slated for Aug. 16.
South Carolina kicks off the 2026 campaign at home with the Gamecock Classic for the second consecutive season, facing UNCG on Aug. 28 and Northeastern on Aug. 30. The team hits the road a couple days later for the inaugural SEC/Big Ten Challenge, facing Michigan on Sept. 1 and Michigan State on Sept. 2 in Ann Arbor.
The Gamecocks return home to host Troy on Sept. 6 and Cal for the annual SEC/ACC Challenge on Sept. 8 before heading back on the road for a three-match stretch. South Carolina first heads to Clemson for a Palmetto Series matchup on Sept. 11 before facing back-to-back Southern Conference opponents starting with 2025 SoCon Champion Wofford on Sept. 12 followed by ETSU on Sept. 15. The non-con schedule concludes at home for South Carolina as the team welcomes Virginia Tech on Sept. 18.
