WASHINGTON – Gallaudet University women’s volleyball will face Notre Dame of Maryland University at home on Wednesday, Oct. 20, at 7 p.m., as the Bison will participate in the annual American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Dig Pink night.
Dig Pink is a fundraising initiative of the Side-Out Foundation, which is a support and advocacy organization dedicated to making a significant and identifiable difference in the lives of breast cancer patients and their families by supporting clinical trials, increasing patient support services and educating communities.
The Bison will be wearing pink during their match; fans are also encouraged to show support by wearing pink.
