TUCSON, Ariz. — The Arizona Wildcats ended their Pac-12 Championship run in day two of the tournament. The Wildcats began the day taking on No. 1 USC in the winner’s bracket where they saw a 3-0 loss. In the end, the Sun Devils came out with a 3-1 victory to finish Arizona’s time in the Championship.

Arizona’s first match of the morning was a quick 3-0 loss to No. 1 USC. Even with the sweep, the Cats were able to get multiple impressive plays and hard earned points against the Trojans.

After falling 21-13 in the first the pair was able to rally back to a close 22-20 loss in the second. Sarah Blacker/Maja Kaiser were the second pair to finish and gave Arizona their first, and only, point of the duel.
