NORTH ANDOVER, MASS. – The Merrimack College women’s volleyball team dropped its matchup with the University of New Hampshire on Wednesday night. Cate Wright led the team in kills with 11. Mia Ardila ranked first in assists with 27.

- Two three-point runs to start the first set tied the it at three. After the Warriors went up by one on a kill by Wright, the Wildcats went on a four-point run to go up by three. New Hampshire then went up by eight after going on another run. Wright and Julz Carlat both got kills late in the set, but it was not enough as the Wildcats scored the last four points.
- New Hampshire jumped out to a quick nine-point lead in the second set. Merrimack came back to cut the lead to five after a Ashley Gajdzik ace and a Carlat kill. Carlat and Wright combined for back-to-back kills to cut it to four. Both teams traded points back and forth. Merrimack went on a three-point run late in the set to cut it to just two points. The Wildcats then scored the last three points of the set to go up by two.
- The third set came and both team were trading points. New Hampshire found themselves up four early. The Warriors pulled within two after a Sydney Green kill. After the Wildcats scored point 24, Merrimack went on a five-point run to tie the game. Needing only two points to win, New Hampshire found a way, winning 3-0.
