Des Moines – The Graceland University Volleyball team fell in straight sets to the Grand View University Vikings last night 12-25,14-25,16-25.
Graceland fell behind early in the first set as they fought against Grand View. At the beginning of the set Graceland kept close behind, but ultimately fell further behind as the set went on, ending the set 12-25.
Grand View led the majority of the second set as well as they held a double-digit lead in the last half of the set. Grand View took the second set 14-25 to go up 2-0 in the match.
The Yellowjackets held a 5-3 lead early in set three. The Vikings eventually came back to take the lead at 5-6 later in the set. Graceland fell 16-25 after a leap in the lead during the third set.
Graceland will will go up against Baker University October 5 in Baldwin City, Kansas at 7:30 p.m.
