The second set victory for the Express was sparked by scoring 11 of 15 points in the middle of the frame.

From there, Elmira would lose the third set by its largest margin (seven points), as Wells took a 2-1 lead in the match with a 25-18 victory. Despite nearly even stat margins in the set, an 8-0 run for the Express was enough for the visitors to take the advantage in the match.

The fourth and final set saw Williamson go for her most kills in a set (seven). A valiant effort from EC in the frame which also consisted of ten ties, came up just short after Wells scored three of the final four points of the set to win 25-21.
