NORTH ANDOVER, MASS. – The Merrimack College women’s volleyball team lost its matchup with Siena University on Friday night in three sets. Sydney Green led the Warriors in kills with 15. Mia Ardila had 21 assists which was good enough for best on the team. Cate Wright had 11 digs in the loss.

- The first set started with a back and forth battle, the Saints slightly pulled ahead by three, 10-7. Siena then pulled ahead by six. The Warriors earned back-to-back points to cut the four. Wright had a kill to make the score 18-14. The Saints scored the last three points of the set to take it by three. In the second set the Warriors jumped out to a 4-1 lead capped off with a kill from Avery Brown. The Saints came back to take the lead by one. Siena then took a two point lead going up 11-9. Merrimack then railed for go up three after three attacking errors from the Saints. The Warriors then scored the last nine points of the set to win by 12.
- The Saints scored nine of the first 11 points of the third set. They continued six of the next seven to go up by 13. Two kills from Green late in the set gave the Warriors 10 points, but it was not enough to compete the comeback. The Warriors were now down two sets to one.
