Jastrzębski Węgiel secured first place in Pool D of the CEV Champions League with 3-0 win against SVG Luneburg, earning them a spot in the quarterfinals. Tomasz Fornal led the scoring with 16 points, followed by Jean Patry and Rafał Szymura with 12 each. Fornal, named MVP, showcased a 62% attack efficiency. The team finished the group stage with a 5–1 record and 15 points.

Meanwhile, Cucine Lube Civitanova dominated Pool E, concluding the stage with a 3-0 victory over Greenyard Maaseik. The Italian team’s performance was highlighted by Lagumdzija’s 15 points, including 4 aces. De Cecco earned MVP honors for his exceptional performance, contributing to the team’s 61% attack efficiency. Cucine Lube Civitanova, with five wins from six matches, gathered 16 points to lead the group.
