In the 17th round of the Polish PlusLiga, Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie and Asseco Resovia Rzeszów emerge victorious in their respective matches.

Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie delivered a dominant performance against Exact Systems Hemarpol Częstochowa, securing a comprehensive 3-0 win. This victory marked their fourteenth of the season, propelling them to the second spot on the league standings. Dawid Dulski from Hemarpol Częstochowa led the scoring with 17 points, supported by Damjan Kogut’s 9 points. For Aluron CMC Warta, Bartosz Kwolek and Karol Butryn were pivotal in their win, scoring 13 and 12 points respectively. The title of Most Valuable Player (MVP) was awarded to Miguel Tavares.

In the day’s other match, Asseco Resovia Rzeszów faced a tough challenge against Ślepsk Malow Suwałki but ultimately prevailed with a 3-1 victory. The game witnessed a remarkable turnaround thanks to Stephen Boyer of Asseco Resovia, who, coming off the bench, unleashed a flurry of seven serve aces, particularly turning the tide in the third set. The most points for Asseco Resovia were scored by Yacine Louati (19), Stephen Boyer (18), and Torey DeFalco (17). Yacine Louati’s exceptional performance, marked by an impressive 48% attack efficiency along with 2 aces and 2 blocks, earned him the MVP title. Bartosz Filipiak with 16 points was the best scorer of Ślepsk Malow Suwałki.
