Isanovic Achieves Academic All-America Honor


AUSTIN, Texas – Sun Devil Volleyball graduate Iman Isanovic was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-America Second Team, her second year in a row earning academic All-America honors.

Last year, Isanovic was a CoSIDA (renamed to CSC) First Team Academic All-American. She finishes her time at ASU with another academic honor as she graduated Cum Laude this December with a cumulative GPA of 4.0 in political science. She is one of four Pac-12 Academic All-Americans.

An outside hitter, Isanovic had another stand-out season as she led the team in kills (421) and service aces (32) for the third year in a row. This season, she moved into eighth place in the record book for all-time kills with 1,392. Her season high in kills was 21 and came twice against Washington and Oregon State. She led the team and the conference with the most sets played at 124.
