Munoz Trinidad Earns Spot on FrogJump Team of the Week


ELMIRA, N.Y. — FrogJump Volleyball named its Team of the Week (Feb. 13- 19), which recognizes some of the top performances at each of the seven positions from the last week at the Division III level, with Oscar Munoz Trinidad ’23 earning spot as an opposite hitter after his performance in two matches this past week. Honorees are nominated by SID/Coaches across the country and selected by a committee of FrogJump staff.

Munoz Trinidad, a senior from Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic, helped the Soaring Eagles to a pair of wins last week, including a victory over #10 NYU on Sunday afternoon. In two matches, Munoz Trinidad powered for 22 kills, including 16 against the Violets while posting a .464 hitting percentage in the match. His .402 hitting percentage on the season leads all Elmira attackers, while his 3.25 kills/set leads the Soaring Eagles in his 32 sets played.
